Worship, Cells, Service
WE GO ABOUT GETTING PEOPLE IN FRONT OF JESUS IN THREE PRIMARY WAYS: WORSHIP, CELLS, AND SERVICE.
Worship is about fostering intimacy with God. God made us to know, love, and enjoy Him. When we take time to worship - both together on Sundays and personally during the week - we get in front of Jesus.
Cells, what we call Bible studies at Threshold, are a major part of our life. As a human body is composed of cells, so is a healthy church body. Cells are not optional - they are vital. As we meet during the week with a small group of trusted Christ-followers, we infuse our lives with theirs, we get in front of Jesus, and we learn to become more like Him.
We were not created to serve ourselves. We were created to serve God by serving one another. Serving someone gets them in front of Jesus because we serve them in His name. All people at Threshold are encouraged to serve both internally and externally, using the gifts and calling that God uniquely gives to each of us.
