OUR VISION FOR FAMILIES

Families were God’s idea, and he has worked in and through families for thousands of years.

It is the responsibility of parents to teach their children about Christ and invite them to come to faith. We are your partners in this most  important endeavor.

Our goal is to see children come to faith in Jesus, and to grow in that faith.

THDkids ON SUNDAY MORNINGS

While adults and teens worship in the gym, THDkids participate in their own unique worship experience, involving drama, music and video. They also spend time in age-appropriate small groups under the guidance of loving and trained volunteers.

We want to help you raise your kids to love and serve God...and to have fun as they learn and grow in their relationship with Him.

BAPTISM/COMMUNION

If you would like to have your child baptized, at any age, there are 2-3 chances a year to do so. We have individual conversations with all parents about baptism a few weeks before the special day. We also offer a Children’s Baptism and Communion Class for ages 3rd grade - 5th grade.

We make a big deal out of our baptism and communion services, so you will want to invite friends and family.

Policies and Procedures

Keeping children safe

Each child who enters Threshold Kids is given a family number on their nametag. A second tag is given to the parent/guardian with the same number. If we should need you for any reason while you are in the service, that number would appear on the screen. This number is also used to link child and parent/guardian at the time of pick-up.

About Our Volunteers...

Every Threshold Kids volunteeer has gone through an interview process and we have completed a background check on them. We are so thankful for the God-given gifts or our wonderful volunteers!

Special Needs Children

If you have a child with special needs, please inform the volunteer at the Threshold Kids front desk so that we can make arrangements to be sure your child has a positive experience.

Sickness/Wellness

To ensure the health of children and volunteers, we ask that sick children do not attend Threshold Kids. If your child has been running a temperature, he/she should be fever-free for 24 hours before coming to Threshold Kids.
