Summer Nights at Threshold

At Threshold, we thrive on healthy community and we also love the arts. This summer, we are combining these two core values into three fun events that are open to all. Each has a different flavor and may appeal to various audiences, but we hope you will come to all three!

June 21 - Movie Night: The Lion King

One of the all-time great family films, The Lion King is a delight for kids of all ages! It features spectacular animation and great music, and also includes some key themes of faith. Bring your favorite lawn chair or blanket and relax in our beautiful air-conditioned space, complete with huge HD screen! Popcorn and drinks will be served. Before you see the new Lion King film, opening July 19, see the original!

July 12 - Haiti: Beyond the Ruins

Bryn Gillette is an internationally acclaimed artist who has captured the plight of the Haitian people as they continue to recover from recent earthquakes. You’ll have a chance to see all 12 painted pieces in this powerful series, and hear Bryn discuss his passion and motivation behind the work. For an  early glimpse, visit Beyond the Ruins. Refreshments will be served.

August 16 - Paint and Sip

Come create your very own work of art! We’ll provide the painting prompt and supplies. You provide the creativity! Bring your own beverage of choice if you wish (yes, adult beverages are permitted) and enjoy a fun evening with others in the community. Tickets are $20 to cover your supplies. RSVP so we will be prepared for you. Refreshments will be served.

We will provide a nursery for each event, through age 4. Supervised children are welcome to participate in all events.
