There is a story in scripture which serves as the visual foundation for our mission. It’s a story of four people who brought a paralyzed friend to Jesus, hoping that if they could get him in front of Jesus, he would be healed. When they arrived at the house where Jesus was teaching, they were unable to get in, so they climbed up on the flat roof, dug a hole in it, and lowered their friend down – right in front of Jesus! Jesus commended their faith and healed their friend.
